My first MAC purchase!!!

So after being a makeup obsessed person my whole life I was kind of surprised that I don't own any MAC make up. So I thought it was about time to try it out to see what the hype is all about. So I ordered this set...

M.A.C. Cosmetics

It's called the keepsake red lip bag. The items that are included in the set are Ruby Woo matte lipstick ($16 value), Ruby Woo lipglass ($15 value), Ruby Woo lip pencil ($16 value), all inside a beautiful limited-edition cream glitter makeup bag with pearl beaded trim and a cameo-encrusted zipper pull. (I'm not sure of the value of the bag). I only paid $39.50!!! When the value without the pretty makeup bag is $47, so it was a great starter set for me!

I love the lipstick! The color is very long lasting, I put it on in the morning ate breakfast and drank my coffee and it was still fresh looking! It was a little drying but when I felt like I needed to I just put some Chapstick on. The lipglass on the other hand I HATED! I've never had a problem with getting lip products on my teeth but this one some how endded up on my teeth during the day. Used it once, never again! It was kind of sticky too. Just not for me. The lip liner I didn't have a problem with I like it, I don't have much else to say about it.

Me with my new foundation and lipstick on!

The other two items I got was MAC studio fix fluid spf 15 foundation in NC20 it's ok but not the greatest I've tried. I keep finding myself reach for my Urban Decay Naked foundation instead. This one doesn't feel like it has very good full coverage with application. I applied it with my beauty blender so I don't know.

The other item I got was Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Pressed Powder I love the black glittery compact it comes in and it works pretty well to mattify my face throughtout the day and minimize the shine.

So that is my first order with M.A.C. cosmetics and overall I was mostly impressed with their lipsticks and with probably getting more in the near future!

What are your thoughts on M.A.C. products and what are your favorites that you think I should try?
